I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10 It is my pleasure to bring greetings to all of God’s dedicated Doorkeepers , Visitors, and Friends. Let me welcome each of you as we celebrate our 106th National Convention at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel under the leadership of our 25th National President Dr. Linda B. Pates, Board Chairman Pansy Bradley-Cooper, and Members of the Board of Directors. It is because of God’s grace and mercy we are meeting together to celebrate our National Convention. What a mighty God we serve! When we come together, let the Fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control guide us all the way.. Let us pray for a successful and spirit-filled convention as we complete our business with unity, care, and concern for our Organization. We will continue to put God first in everything we do, and He will direct us and crown our efforts with success. Let us bring forth positive actions in all that we do as God’s committed and willing Doorkeepers . Congratulations to honorees: Ushers Julia Rodgers - Arizona; Pamela Farley – California; Edith Jackson-Norris, - Colorado,; and Charles Houston – Washington State. May the work each of you have done speak for you. Let us continue to ask God to bless our National Organization as we serve with love and dedication!
