Doorkeeper Oct 2025

NATIONAL UNITED CHURCH USHERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA, INC. www.nationalchurchushers.org NATIONAL PRESIDENT DR. LINDA PATES - BARNES Greetings, Fellow Doorkeepers, As the 25th National President, I am deeply grateful to God and you for the opportunity to serve for 2025-2026. Thank God for a spiritual, inspirational, and successful 106 th Convention. Thank you for your attendance and support. A Big Thank you to the State of Arizona and the Western Region for your grand hospitality. I know that with your continuous support and love, our 107th convention will be fruitful for the State of Florida and the Southern Region. Scripture tells us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” I charge each one of you to share your ideas and talents. It will be these ideas and talents that will keep us moving forward! The goal for 2025-2026 continues with God’s guidance. I promise that as president, I will do my best to continue to listen and ensure transparency. I am committed to leading NUCUAA with vision, integrity, and courage. I will work diligently with the Board of Directors and the Central, Eastern, Southern, and Western Regions to fulfill my tasks and responsibilities and to move NUCUAA forward. The organization’s theme is "Ushers Committed to Doing the Will of God!” “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 (King James Version) The challenge is to allow God to renew our minds and use each of us to glorify Him and move NUCAA forward. Let us now move forward together with determination and turn goals into reality. Let’s begin! Let's get it done! Now! Let’s continue to pray for our organization, the sick, the shut-in, the bereaved, military men and women, and their families, as well as the world. Let’s Pray without ceasing. The scripture tells us to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1Thessalonians 5:16-17). To pray without ceasing means always having our minds on the things of God and being in continuous communication with Him so that every moment may be as fruitful as possible. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to NUCUAA and the Usher Ministry! Always remember, the one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped (Proverbs 11:25 MSG).
