George T. Grier School of Ushering Department Floor Demonstration Team Competition and Workshop Classes Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2025 | Time: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM Floor Demonstration Team Competition Presiding: Frankie J. Roberson, Past National Chairman

Workshop Classes Presiding: Cheryl D. Allen, National Chairman

Synopsis: The George T. Grier School of Ushering Floor Demonstration Team Competition is held on the first day (Tuesday) of the George T. Grier School of Ushering Workshop. This competition is between the States in each Department (Seniors, Young Adults, and Junior and Young People). The National Alumni Department is responsible for the judging. The teams winning first, second, and third places will each receive gold, silver, and bronze medallions respectively, based on their tallied scored on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Depending on the amount of time remaining after the Floor Demonstration Team Competition, the National Chairman will assign Instructors and students to individual Workshop Classes and the Instructors and students will report directly to the assigned room locations; or the National Chairman will keep Instructors and students in the ballroom for a combined Workshop Class. The purpose of the Workshop Class is to discuss, illustrate, and demonstrate the signs and signals of the techniques of Church Ushering.

Synopsis: The George T. Grier School of Ushering Drill Team Competition is held on the second day (Wednesday) of the George T. Grier School of Ushering Workshop.
