The National Chaplain is assisted by a committee of State and Region Chaplains. The National Chaplain ’ s duties are to attend all meetings of the Association and open and close the same with appropriate devotional exercises. Additionally, the Chaplain offers spiritual guidance and support to the National President as well as other Officers and members during the course of the convention. He/She also renders special prayers when requested by same.
The Monitors Committee works very closely with the National Junior Supervisor and the Department Supervisors in monitoring the movement and behavior of the Juniors during the evening hours. Members of this Committee monitor the halls and other areas of the Hotel for possible curfew violators, and Juniors that may be causing disturbances for other Hotel guests. All violations are reported to the National Supervisor, and serious violations are reported to the Regional Directors, Board of Directors, and the National President for disposition. These men and women work from the beginning to the end of the Convention.

Sergeant - at - arms is an officer appointed by the President, to keep order during its meetings. The word "serjeant" is derived from the Latin serviens, which means "servant." Sergeant - at - Arms controls Officials and members staff coming to a Session of Order, once a meeting has officially started in order; the Sergeant - at - Arms will keep authority and make sure no one disrupts Session, ensure that security is effective and good order is maintained. The posts of Sergeants - at - Arms is primarily to enforce order at the direction of the "President/Presiding Official" and to assist in practical details of official organizational meetings. In large organizations, the sergeant - at - arms may have assistants.
The Staff serves at the request and direction of the National Parliamentarian. It consists of Professional Registered Parliamentarians that are members of our Organization who have demonstrated knowledge of Convention parliamentary procedures, and the Bylaws of this Association. The Parliamentarian is seated next
to the Presiding Officer during General Session, and provides opinions on various issues when requested by the Presiding Officer. Members of the Staff may also serve in advisory capacities when requested by the National Parliamentarian.
