The ICUA of the District of Columbia held it’s 76 th Commencement Program on May 4, 2025.

The 2025 Theme was “God’s Gatekeeper” (based on Psalm 100:4)

Congratulaions 2025 Catherine E. School of Ushering Graduates!

The class consisted of twenty new graduates:

Sixteen Beginners (includng one Junior)

Events

• On Saturday May 2025, the Junior and Young People’s Department held the Rhonda M. Jackson Mother’s Day Program & Luncheon. The theme was: ‘A Mother’s Love is a Reflection of God’s Love’ . Scripture reference: “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you and you will be comforted over Jerusalem” Isaiah 66:13 The program was a great success. • The Randy L. Perrin Men’s Fellowship sponsored a Fish Fry on Friday May 23, 2025. The Fish Fry has become a successful annual event. • The ICUA d the District of Columbia continues to rebuild it’s Ritualistic Team to serve our members. The first class was held on May 24, 2025. • The Charles B. Walker Culture Club will hold a JUNETEENTH Bazaar & Celebration on Saturday June 21, 2025, from 11 AM-3 PM on the grounds of Zion Baptist Church, 4850 Blagden Avenue NW, Washington, DC, Keith W. Byrd, SR., Pastor. Theme: ‘Keep the Faith Moving Forward’
