On behalf of Pastor Greg Nolan & First Lady Sherri Nolan, the Greater St. John Family, Usher Vickie Hunter, President of the Greater St. John Usher Board, a huge THANK YOU to the entire Santa Clara District Usher Board for showing up and showing out at our Usher Annual Day Celebration on July 27, 2025! From the powerful theme, “Ushers Staying Focused” (Matthew 14:27-30), Rev. Thomas Turner brought a powerful message and led our Grand March that shook the house. God’s presence was truly felt! We were blessed to celebrate with the oldest usher in our district, Mother Bertha Sparks, and reminded once again that we have the BEST District President ever - Usher Paulette Little! To God be ALL the Glory!

The Northern Area Ushers of California are preparing for a special moment as the School of Ushering Graduation takes place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM. This joyous occasion will honor the students who have diligently completed their studies in the School of Ushering. We celebrate their dedication, perseverance, and success. Emmanuel Baptist Church On Sunday, September 21, 2025, we will gather again to give thanks and celebrate the Emmanuel Baptist Church 50 th Ushers’ Annual Day. For half a century, this faithful group has served the church with grace, hospitality, and love. We pause to glorify God for allowing us to reach this milestone and for His blessings upon this ministry. Looking ahead, Emmanuel Baptist Church is preparing for a grand occasion - our 60th Church Anniversary Celebration Weekend, beginning Friday, October 10, 2025, through Sunday, October 12, 2025. This three-day celebration will begin with a beautiful Anniversary Gala in Fremont on Friday evening. Saturday will be filled with fellowship and fun during our Church Activity Day. Finally, on Sunday, we will gather for two powerful worship services at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM to culminate this historic weekend. We invite all members, family, and friends to join us as we lift our hearts in thanksgiving, celebration, worship, and praise for all that God has done in the life of our church.
