Sacramento Valley District Ushers attended the Annual State Convention held in June Congratulations to the Santa Clara District, Paulette Little, President, for hosting the 84 th Union Usher Board State of California State Convention in San Jose, CA. We wish to extend appreciation to Santa Clara for their dedication and hard work. Delegates from around the State had a wonderful and blessed time. Many faithful Ushers were recognized, and we congratulate all the District Honorees, Pam Bates, Machelle Clark and Arlene Henry along with President Paulette Little the Banquet Honoree. The Host Rev. Ken James, Associate Pastor of Open Bible Faith Community Church, Sacramento Valley acknowledges and congratulates our Usher, Orlanda Pearson, State Young Adult President for serving this year alone with the other members who continue to work within our State. Sacramento Valley celebrated an Ushers Annual Day for First Baptist Tabernacle Church in July. The annual day was spirit filled and all members and Ushers who attended were blessed. We are looking forward to the George T. Grier School of Ushering graduation in September. The Northern District Ushers will host the Northern area graduation. The graduation will be held at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, East Palo Alto, CA. Again, this year, Ushers from Sacramento attended the National Convention held in Phoenix, Arizona. The State of Arizona and the Western Region did a great job in hosting the National Convention. Tina Marshall represented the State of California in the School of Ushering Queen Contest and came in 2 nd Place. Special Recognition was given to Usher Doris Gilton at the Tuesday night program by the National Young Adult Department. Sacramento Valley District loss many dedicated members and ask that you keep the families of our bereaved in prayer.

As we welcome Fall, we celebrate our Grandparents, Military Servicemen and women who served our country, those we lost on 9-11 along with those workers who toil each day to care for our families. We thank God for the memories and the continued blessings bestowed on us daily. In Appreciation The Southern District Ushers join the Hines family in thanking each of you that attended the homegoing service, sent resolutions/condolences upon learning of the passing of Brother Malcolm Hines . His life was truly celebrated August 16, 2025 and he is sorely missed! Prayer List Southern District Mother Annie Sims, Father Elzie Williams and Trustee Chairman Rosie L. Lee have been blessed by the Lord and asks for your continued prayers.
