Greetings Doorkeepers,

Giving honor to God, National President Linda Pates, Board of Directors Chairman Pansy Bradley Cooper, my fellow Vice Presidents, and all member of The NUCUAA inc. I trust everyone has returned home safely from your Post-National Convention vacations and holidays. It was such a blessing to see everyone at our 106th National Convention in Phoenix, Arizona a few weeks ago. Thank you to the state of Arizona and the Western Region for being outstanding hosts in Phoenix. The Lord blessed us with lower-than-average temperatures during our stay in Arizona, so it was rather pleasant to walk around (Briefly) before and after the business sessions. Congratulations to all newly elected officers of our great organization. I want to encourage you to bring your leadership skills and new ideas to NUCUAA I guarantee, that you’ll be respected and heard. Congratulations to everyone who won awards in your perspective departments. I personally am very impressed with our School of Ushering department. The floor demonstration and drill team competition are the foundations of this organization. Congratulations on the job well done! I would love to see more participants in the team competition at our 107th Annual Convention this July in Orlando, Florida. If you have ever participated in the competition, it is an experience that you will never forget. Thank you, Ushers, for participating in the Doorkeeper Publication. This is our main medium of communication when we are not at Regional and National events. I look forward to reading what other States and Regions are doing. It truly is The “Tie that binds”.
