The purpose of this Department is to maintain the records of all graduates of each State School of Ushering. We provide ushering assistance to Churches, Charities, Schools, Civic Organizations, and in support of a wide range of activities, whereby, our services are needed and/or requested. The Department ushers at the Interfaith Service on Sunday, and is responsible for lifting the Tuesday morning offering, during the School of Ushering training. We will provide trained Judges and Runners, and a Tally Team for the Floor Demonstration Competition, scheduled for Tuesday, July 23 rd , and the Drill Competition, scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 th . Finally, the Department provides an Usher of the Year Committee and a Bible Book of Seven Committee, whose primary responsibility is to select an Usher of the Year and a Bible Book of Seven winner, respectively, during the Convention.
