The duty of this council is to promote the objectives of Association and the continued interests of those who have served as National Officers which includes all Seniors, Young Adults, and Junior and Young Peoples members that have performed in this capacity.

This council was reorganized by Past National President Willie J. Minnifield in 1996 to plan and manage the annual Sunday Prayer Breakfast at the seat of the NUCUAA Convention. The duties of this council have since been expanded to also include other projects assigned by the current National President. In 2017, the Sunday Prayer Breakfast was renamed to honor Past National President Sylester T. Williams. Prayer is always in order as this is our communication line with our Heavenly Father. This Council is responsible for the Sylester T. Williams Prayer Breakfast which will be held on Sunday morning, July 20, 2025. You may purchase your ticket(s) through the registration package with your state or through online registration. Come and take part in the prayers to lift up the name of Jesus and to praise his Holy name. Our breakfast is our way of being thankful to and in appreciation to God Almighty for yet another year he has kept us, protected us, healed us, and allowed his Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to share in relationship with Him and one another.
