MARYLAND

Usher Alverta Darden of the Anne Arundel County Unit, Usher Sylvia Graves of the Baltimore Unit, Usher Zara Jenkins of the Calvert County Unit, Usher Virginia Cevis of the UCUA of Harford and Cecil Counties, and Usher Colette McCorvey of the Prince George's County Unit were all recognized. Each of these notable women received flowers and a certificate. They were truly surprised and appreciative by the recognition that the State of Maryland presented to them. Ladies, congratulations!

Members of the Cevis family, the Restoration Praise Dancers, also ministered to us. We express our sincere gratitude to the UCUA of Harford and Cecil Counties Unit President Usher Ollie M. Danage, along with her officers and members, as well as Convention Chairperson Usher Gail L. Jackson and Vice Chairperson Usher Ernestine Womack, for a job well done. We also extend our thanks to Rev. Dr. Baron D. Young and the Saint James A.M.E. Church for the generous love and hospitality extended to us during this event. Congratulations to the ICUA of Maryland, Inc. appointed and elected state officers installed for 2025 – 2026. A heartfelt thank you to Immediate Past Young Adult President Brittney Spurlock for her dedicated years of service to the state. May God continue to bless and watch over you.
