The Mississippi State Ushers attended the 66th Southern Region Conference in Jackson, Mississippi. Ron Jones, State President, and the Mississippi Ushers extend a BIG thank you to those who attended. Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Travis Harden, Director, and his cabinet for a spiritual, inspirational, and successful conference. At the Installation and Recognition Banquet, Dr. Linda Pates, Immediate Past Director (2012-2024), was honored.

Congratulations to Junior Usher Kaniya Walker, who graduated from Port Gibson High School on May 23 as Valedictorian. Kaniya will be attending Mississippi State University in Starkville on a full academic scholarship in the Fall of 2025. Kaniya is the Southern Region Junior and Young People Parliamentarian for the Junior and Young People Department.
