The Antioch church family held their Annual Women’s Day “Shades of Pink” on Sunday, March 9, 2025. The Antioch Women Ushers gave the Men Ushers a break by ushering the entire day ( see picture below ). The theme for the day was “Virtuous Women, Women of God” with the supporting scripture of Proverbs 31. A “Hallelujah” time was had by all! Antioch Youth Usher Desirae Burton graduated from Desert Edge High School on Monday, May 12, 2025 ( see picture below ). This is just the beginning for her. Desirae will be pursuing a career in either the Air Force of Army and we have no doubt she will accomplish great things!

Antioch Women Ushers High School Graduate Desirae Burton The church family and Ushers Ministry of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church had a very busy quarter filled with several special events. On Saturday, March 1, 2025, Pilgrim Rest hosted the ASU (Arizona State University) Race for Democracy. Spike Lee was the guest speaker, and the Ushers served and seated over 1,700 guests. On Sunday, March 9, 2025, the Pilgrim Rest church family celebrated Rev. Dr. Terry E. Mackey’s 6 th Pastoral Anniversary by thanking him for his wisdom, love, and having a heart to serve God's people. On Sunday, May 18, 2025, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church celebrated their 103 rd Church Anniversary, which included the annual wall of protection where everyone in attendance
